Welcome to Course 3:
Analysis and Application of Cognitive Biblical Therapy
This course will explain the elements of Agape love using the Word Studies of the Biblical norms. Using the scores from the Agape Love analysis Questionnaire, four human personality types will be described and explained. Situations of clients who would benefit from additional physical, psychological, or psychiatric evaluations will be described. The gathered client data from the client’s background and experiences will be used to guide the counseling process to prevent coping habits and misconceptions of God to hinder the effectiveness of the overall methodology. Client problem areas will be identified so as to guide the application of the Agape love concepts to identify a problem, formulate the contrast between Agape love, and the client's current actions and attitudes. This will lead to a treatment plan for spiritual and human growth and maturity.

A professional counselor said, “Dr. Wilkinson taught me how to lead others through their brokenness to discover God’s unconditional love. Using CBT to counsel, provides the Biblical framework needed for the client to surrender aspects of their conditional love, in order to discover real answers through God’s Agape Love.”
